What is a transgender? They are just like everyone, but to be define  transgender in today’s society – it is a person whose self-identity does not conform to conventional notions of male or female gender. Transgender people are just that; they don’t feel like they were born into the right gender. As much as I wish that they are treated equal, they are not because so many people believe that they should just be cut off from the rest of the world.  People believe that they shouldn’t be allow to use public bathrooms.

I don’t think what people wear or how they act should make a difference. Everyone should be treated the way they want to be treated regardless of their gender, sexual orientation, or disabilities.  Treat people like you or any of your friends would want to be treated…with kindness and respect.  Treat transgenders like you would  treat your teacher’s and your boss’s  with the respect that they deserve.

A transgender person is being forced to use the woman restroom instead of the men’s because he was born a girl but he feels like a boy. He lives in North Carolina and his name is James Parker Sheffield. James should be treated with respect and with equality.

Just because people are different they should be treated differently.
