Nutrition is the process of providing or obtaining the food necessary for health, growth and achieving high levels of nourishment. Without correct nutrition, the body does not obtain the right amount of proteins, fiber, energy, fats, minerals and vitamins.

These are all important because without protein, your body will be weak. Without energy of carbohydrates, you will feel fatigued and be highly unproductive. Without fiber, your body will not be able to pass through toxins and excess food that doesn’t digest properly. Without fats, your body will become weak. Lastly, without vitamins and minerals, your body will be missing important nutrients, creating a backlash where the body doesn’t function properly, and will also cannibalize on itself.

What does that mean? When your body cannibalizes on itself (which happens most when you are exerting your body, such as working out or having long days at work), the body destroys all muscle first instead of the fat because the muscle is made of the healthy nutrients. You must take the correct vitamins and plenty of protein in order to make sure your muscles stay healthy and instead you lose the excess fat. One thing that many people do is eat less, which is the opposite thing you want to do. Eating is so important and the only issue some have with weight is nutrition. You must eat all the right things in order for your body to be healthy and fit. Nutrition is key to losing weight, staying healthy, and building muscle.
