We wanted to see where our graduating seniors are going to be next year. So we went around and interviewed some.

Here’s what Megan Heroux is going to be doing after she graduates in June.

Interviewer: Hi Megan, how is your senior year been going?

Megan: Fantastic (note the sarcasm)

I: Is there anything that has happened so far or is upcoming in your last few months as a senior that you’re looking forward too?

M: Graduating from TC3 in May.

I: Wow! You’re already graduating from TC3 before graduating from high school that is impressive.

M: Thanks.

I: Okay, so what are your plans in the fall after high school? Any summer plans?

M: I’m getting a support dog and training her all summer. I am going to go Ithaca College for some sort of communications degree.

I: Thank you for your time. It was a pleasure interviewing you.

Another senior we interviewed was Gregory McLachlan.

I: Hi Greg, how has your senior year been going?

G: Eh (note the lack of enthusiasm).

I: Is there anything that has happened so far or is upcoming in your last few months as a senior that you’re looking forward too?

G: Finishing my Go Cart in welding up at BOCES.

I: Okay, so what are your plans in the fall after high school? Any summer plans?

G: Well, I’m planning to get a job at the Ironworkers Union in Syracuse and work there for about four years. Then I’m planning on going to DIT in Washington for Commercial Diving.

I: Well, it looks like you’ve got quite the plan worked out. Thank you for your time and it was a pleasure interviewing you.

This is just a couple of many seniors in the graduating class and a small variation of what the future holds for all of them.
