The movie “A Quiet Place” was released April 6, 2018 and directed by a man named John Krasinski. This movie is about a family of five who are living in a world where you have to be completely silent all the time. If they were to make any noise they would be hunted by the monsters. The monsters are blind and they hunt with sound. They’re fast, vicious, strong and ruthless.

This movie is about two parents named Lee and Evelyn who do what it takes to keep their family of five safe in a world full of creatures hunting every sound they can hear. Throughout this movie they mainly used sign language. The main reason they used sign language was because their oldest daughter Regan was deaf. Another reason sign language was used throughout the movie is because if they were to speak they would be heard by these monsters and be tracked down and killed. There are many amazing scenes throughout this movie.

I thought that the director of this film did an outstanding job with making this movie. Not only are there unexpected scenes but they did an amazing job with designing the movie. This movie shows a strong bond between a family, and it gives the meaning that all you need in life to survive are the ones who love you to be there to protect you. Jeannette Catsoulis from the NY Times said: “A Quiet Place is an old-fashioned creature feature with a single, simple hook: The creatures are blind, hungry and navigate by sound.”
