Two brothers, Sam and Dean Winchester, raised by their father John Winchester, follow in their father’s footsteps as “hunters,” fighting evil supernatural beings of many kinds, including demons, monsters, and gods that roam the earth. After their mother Mary was murdered by a yellow-eyed demon, Sam and Dean were raised to be soldiers and their goal was to kill all things that go “bump in the night,” while trying to save innocent people along the way.

Throughout all 14 seasons, violent memories and relationship threatening secrets add burdens on Sam and Dean as they investigate all things that go “bump in the night.” As old tricks and tools prove to be useless and friends betray them, the brothers must rely on each other as they come across new enemies and new threats.

Sam and Dean are very dedicated to each other and will do everything in their power to keep each other safe and alive. Ever since Dean was little, he was tasked as Sam’s protector and, as a result, views himself as such. He would cook and care for Sam as well as protect him while their father was out. Although Dean and Sam are both very grown up, Dean still knows that Sam will always be his little brother and will protect him at all costs.

Sam, Dean, and every other hunter in Supernatural hunts the evil that lives in the dark corners and on the back roads of America; saving people, hunting things, the family business.
